A Step Closer to India
While many of us are now reaching into the depths of our closets for forgotten winter gloves and hats, dancers the world over are ironing their saris in preparation for the newest edition of The Hague’s India Dance Festival.
For two weeks in October, artists from India, Malaysia, Singapore, the US and England will perform various styles of Indian dance and song as well as instruct a range of workshops at Korzo theatre.
And if you really can’t decide which performance to attend, be sure to catch the ‘Colours of India’ on the 1st of November where you can sample Indian dance in all its forms and then try out your new moves at the Indian Party afterwards. Although there won’ t be much sitting down I do suggest booking your seat in advance.
