THE WORLD IN THE HAGUE
For the third time, artists of all crafts, coming from all corners of the globe, meet in The Hague this Saturday 5 September, during the annual Embassy festival.
Expect a rich plate of (world) music, theater, literature, art and food served on three stages at the tree-lined boulevard of Lange Voorhout.
I am especially looking forward to the music of talented vocalist Lovorka Holjevac and her band (ti-an-guis), performing at 16:30 at the Contemporary Stage. Come earlier to listen to
Wojtek Justyna Tree…Oh!?, TERAKAFT and Con Brio or stay a bit longer for the acts of David Rönnegård and La Chiva Gantiva.
Don’t forget to visit Kids Compound, Creative Arena and finally International Market offering culinary and cultural delights from 29 countries, all in one day. Think Thailand, Slovenia, Panama, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bolivia, France, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Cyprus, China, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Curacao, Philippines, Tunisia, Sudan, Palestine, Greece, Austria, Canada, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Armenia, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia! Can’t wait!
Saturday, 5 September, 12pm until 8pm, Lange Voorhout!
