Ciné Premières: French movies in Filmhuis
For the 6th time, French Film Festival will take place in Amsterdam, Groningen and Filmhuis (8-15 November) in the Hague. The idea is to present to the wider public new tendencies in French cinema: movies that won prestigious awards like The Palme d’Or as well as works of young authors. Part of the festival will be dedicated to short films! The festival is also promising an overview of the rich history of French cinematography with movies from Alain Resnais, Chris Marker and Germaine Dulac; there will be live French music, food and drinks. Oh, la, la! Festival in The Hague will close with two silent movies from Germain Dulac accompanied with live music.
